Music Information

I have two different Crucifixion musical pieces, however only this one has been recorded. The original (unrecorded version) is in Cminor and was the piece I was working on when “Piano Piece No. 1” was born. This recorded piece is actually the introductory section of one of my recent compositions entitled “North African Imagined Landscapes” because it is written in several North African/Arabic musical scales. I feel this music has a haunting feel that captures the subject.

Art Information

I have worked with this image for many years. I have attached many different meanings to it over time, but here, it is what it is. My hope is for each listener/viewer to experience a visceral reaction to the image with their own individual meaning. My goal is to eventually create a very large, complete crucifixion image.
