Music Information

The music that is associated with this portrait is actually a piece called “People Killing People” and is not really related to this piece. I really like its feel and at some point I felt it worked well with this picture.

Art Information

I originally sketched and created a MusicArt piece of John Lennon and Yoko Ono for a suite of works of musicians and artists. During this time I was listening to “Double Fantasy” while creating my sketches. Although the suite did not work out, I became fascinated with their relationship and creative process. It really resonated with me. Now, as a “forty-something stay-at-home artist dad,” I can understand how their relationship affected that album. I hear that album in a very different way now. It is so incredibly insightful and creative on so many levels.
