Music Information

While conceiving the lyrics, I could hear an interesting electronic keyboard piece that would sound like a sound cascade and would weave throughout the song. This demo came fairly close to what I envisioned.

Art Information

I created this musical version of the yin-yang image to symbolize harmony. There are so many different kinds of music available that trying to choose which new sounds to listen to can almost become overwhelming. I love to search out new music and often find new pieces that are “music to my ears,” while occasionally I find others that are not. I suppose that it all depends upon how open to change we are when we are listening. It was this issue that served as the basis for this art. Just like the yin-yang image, there cannot be harmony without disharmony. The whole is made up of many different pieces, with each needing the other. Kind of like people …
